About Alonzo Edwards
Alonzo Edwards, affectionately known as “ZO,” is a real estate professional, investor, entrepreneur, and mentor with a passion for helping people achieve homeownership and build generational wealth. With more than 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry, over 20 years of real estate renovation and investment experience, and a growing track record as a high-producing Realtor, ZO brings a unique combination of financial knowledge, real estate expertise, and hands-on problem-solving to every transaction.
Throughout his mortgage career, ZO worked with borrowers facing complex financial and credit challenges, helped structure difficult loans, supervised loan officers, and trained more than 100 mortgage professionals in sales, compliance, and loan programs. His ability to identify solutions where others see obstacles has become one of his greatest strengths.
Today, ZO brings that same determination and creative problem-solving to real estate as a Broker Associate with Norluxe Realty - Birmingham. His approach goes beyond simply buying and selling houses. He is passionate about helping first-time homebuyers, families, investors, and individuals who may have been told that homeownership is out of reach.
As a real estate investor and entrepreneur, ZO understands the importance of building wealth through property ownership, strategic investing, and creating opportunities for others. He is also committed to helping fellow real estate professionals grow their businesses, develop their skills, and learn how to navigate challenging transactions.
ZO is the creator of The ZO Pie Method, a sales and success philosophy developed through decades of experience in sales, mortgage lending, leadership, and real estate. His approach emphasizes relationship-building, creativity, persistence, and understanding that every client deserves a strategy tailored to their circumstances.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, ZO is a husband, family man, and man of faith who believes success is about more than personal achievement. It is about making a difference, opening doors for others, and leaving a lasting legacy.
His philosophy is simple: Don't just tell people what they can't do. Find a way to help them make it happen.
Whether he is helping a family purchase a home, advising an investor, developing real estate professionals, or growing his brokerage, ZO brings energy, experience, and a relentless commitment to getting results.
Alonzo Edwards “ZO” — Turning obstacles into opportunities, one deal at a time.
