Jeremy Norman, a proud Birmingham, AL native, began his real estate career in 2003 after being introduced to the industry while attending Jacksonville State University. Early in his journey, he recognized how rarely African‐Americans were represented in real estate—if they were represented at all. As he worked through several brokerages, he discovered a deeper industry‐wide disparity: African‐Americans made up only 6% of realtors across the United States. This revelation fueled his determination to create meaningful change. What started as a simple concept in Birmingham, AL later took shape in the leasing office of his Atlanta apartment. It ultimately grew into Norman & Associates—now Norluxe Realty—founded to expand opportunity, access, and representation for African‐Americans and other minorities across residential, commercial, and luxury real estate.

Throughout his career, Jeremy has earned an impressive collection of achievements that reflect his leadership and influence in the industry. In 2008, he was named Rookie of the Year by LAH Commercial Real Estate. In 2011, he became one of the youngest African‐Americans inducted into Birmingham’s Commercial Club of Excellence while also earning the title of Top Producer in Investment. His momentum continued with nominations from the Birmingham Business Alliance, recognition across multiple regions as a top commercial agent, and honors such as IPUSH Magazine’s Man of Culture, Birmingham Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40, and CEO Award Finalist. In 2020, he was celebrated as the Birmingham Entrepreneur of the Year. Under his leadership, Norluxe Realty received Sirva Supplier Diversity Awards in 2023 and 2024 for Corporate Relocation and was named the Top Real Estate Firm by the Birmingham Journal in 2024.
